As the light used doesn’t contain any ultraviolet rays, there are no skin cancer concerns associated with this therapy.
- How does it work?
- The machine removes or reduces the stratum corneum (outermost, dead layer of the skin), revealing newer, fresher-looking skin.
- What happens during the procedure?
- You simply lie under a robotic arm that emits either a pre-programmed treatment for your skin concern, or individual coloured lights can be selected for a concentrated effect. Special goggles may need to be worn if you are undergoing the acne program. The treatment is completely painless and rejuvenating for the skin and the mind.
- How long does the procedure take?
- 15-30 minutes per session. Best results are achieved by undergoing a course of treatments targeted at 2 sessions per week.
